It all starts with a story.

Matthew 1:22-23

22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

but the word of our God stands forever"

Childhood Faith

It all began with the quiet innocence of childhood. Faith was not something explained in theological terms, but something felt in the rhythm of family life and the atmosphere of church on Sunday mornings. The old wooden pews, the stained-glass windows catching the sunlight, and the familiar hymns sung by voices all around gave a sense of belonging that words could not fully capture.

As a child, prayer seemed simple and pure—spoken in whispers before bedtime or offered silently when facing fear or uncertainty. Stories from the Bible were alive with wonder: Noah’s ark was more than an old tale, it was a picture of God’s protection; David and Goliath showed that courage came not from strength but from trust; and Jesus blessing the children made faith feel personal, as if He was reaching out to me too.

There was a natural awe in those early years, a sense that God was near, even if I did not yet understand the fullness of who He was. That childhood faith was like a seed—small, tender, but full of potential. Though life would bring seasons of doubt, questions, and growth, those first impressions of God’s presence became the roots that would later hold fast.

Brothers and Athletics

Growing up as the youngest of three brothers, life was always full of energy, competition, and a bit of playful chaos. Athletics was a huge part of our lives. Whether it was playing catch in the yard, shooting hoops in the driveway, or joining local teams, sports became a shared language that connected us. It was in those moments of running around on a field or cheering each other on that I learned about teamwork, perseverance, and the kind of unspoken bonds that brothers share.

As the verse reminds us, “A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity” (Proverbs 17:17). That brotherly love and the lessons from those athletic days weren’t just about sports—they were a foundation of trust and resilience that carried into all parts of life.

Young Adulthood

As I moved into young adulthood, a natural shift began. My two brothers, who had been my constant companions and teammates in those childhood years, started to leave the family unit to begin their own lives. With each of them carving out their own paths, I found myself navigating a new season of growing independence.

In that space, I began to move away from the familiar patterns of childhood and family routines. There was a sense of both freedom and a bit of uncertainty—wondering how to shape my own identity and faith journey without the constant presence of my brothers. It was a time of exploring new friendships, personal passions, and figuring out what faith meant to me as an individual.

Athletics and Art

Being pulled away from the natural intelligence and the paths that my brothers seemed to naturally follow, I found myself moving more toward the world of athletics and art. It was a different kind of intelligence—a space where physical movement, creativity, and self-expression became my way of navigating the world.

In athletics, I found discipline and the thrill of pushing my limits. In art, I discovered a new language—one where I could channel emotions, tell stories, and explore faith in a more visual and personal way. This shift wasn't just about changing interests; it was about finding a new identity and reconnecting with faith in ways that were uniquely my own.

Wandering and Sin

With that said, my faith began to grow a bit unclear. I found myself chasing things that didn’t quite align with the faith I once had. While athletics and art opened up new worlds for me, they also brought distractions and a kind of wandering away from the clear, simple faith I once knew. I started to realize that I was drifting into pursuits that weren’t as grounded, and that clarity I had as a child began to feel more distant.

Falling into sin was a part of that journey too. As I drifted further from the faith I once held close, I found myself making choices that led me into places I never expected to go. It was a time of stumbling, of learning the hard way, and of realizing that I’d lost sight of the spiritual compass that once guided me.

Balance of Life

Throughout the balance of my life, the story continued with twists and turns, moments of wandering and moments of rediscovery. It was a journey of falling and getting back up, of being lost and then finding my way again, often in the most unexpected ways. Over time, that early seed of faith, planted in childhood, found new soil to grow in. And the story of In God We Trust Ministries—well, it’s really about how all those chapters came together, blending the confessions of an art guy into a testimony of faith, resilience, and a return to what truly matters.

The Original Truth

John 1:1-3

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

The Meaning of "Word" in Greek

The Greek word logos (λόγος) is usually translated in the Gospels as "word,"
it means "computation," "relation," "explanation," "law," "rule of conduct,"
"continuous statement," "tradition," "discussion," "reckoning,"
"reputation" (when applied to people), and "value."

This is a lot of variety, and there is no English ...

Word /wərd/

noun
1. a single distinct meaningful element of speech or
writing, used with others (or sometimes alone) to form
a sentence and typically shown with a space on
either side when written or printed:
"I don't like the word “unofficial”
Similar  term | name | expression | designation

2. a command, password, or signal:
"someone gave me the word to start playing"
Similar  instruction | order | command |signal

verb
choose and use particular words in order to say or write
(something): "he words his request in a particularly ironic way"
Similar:  phrase | express | put | couch | frame | set forth
exclamation   informal
used to express agreement:
"“That Jay is one dangerous character.” “Word.”"

Pique 2:

The Original Belief

"John 14:6

"6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

but the word of our God stands forever"

Pique 3:

Beginning of Real Prophecy

Prophets Delivered Messages

In the Old Testament of the Bible often conveyed God's will, warnings, promises, or revelations about the future. The nature of prophecy is foretelling or predicting future events (e.g., the coming of the Messiah, judgment on nations), and forthtelling or declaring God's message for the present (e.g., calling people to repentance). From the King James Version (KJV) containing numerous passages.

Key Elements and Themes of Old Testament Prophecy:

Judgment and Warning: Against sin and disobedience

Isaiah 1:18-20

18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

Thanks be to God

Hope and Restoration: Promises of deliverance and blessings

Jeremiah 31:31-34

31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Thanks be to God

Messianic Prophecy: Foretelling the coming of the Messiah

Zechariah 9:9

9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Thanks be to God

The Day of the Lord: A future time of judgment and redemption

Joel 2:28-32

28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. 30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come. 32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.

Thanks be to God

Schisms Cloaking Truth

Romans 8:26

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

"the grass withers, the flower fades,
but the word of our God stands forever"

Houston, we have a problem.

Leadership paralysis, industrial and corporate regulation, over-amped media outlets, messages spun into loud, noisy puns, fuel the growth of producing stuff, to keep up with the Jones's. As the vice of financial greed grips, cranks down on, squeezes, pressing, constantly breaking the planet's ecosystem. In human terms, maybe beyond repair. "Wholistic" becomes "WHOAlistic".

The affairs of state come before the state of affairs.

Govermental departments such as the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) using Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Codes define every kind of company that is known by mankind. For profit, not for profit, corporate, personal, global, family, making and serving food, importing, exporting, deporting, shipping of products, transporting services, building buildings, prisons, cars, spaceships, and weapons. Covers everything except, human trafficking, money laundering, racial violence, there may be others.

The separation of church and state.

Church - There are around 45,000 denominations globally, according to studies like those from the Center for the Study of Global Christianity. Factors contributing to the total, Theological Differences, Geographical Spread, Historical Splits, Cultural Contexts, and Growth.
State - The number globally includes Countries, Territories, Regions, and Autonomous AreasIndependent Sovereign States, Dependent Territories, Global Governments, Democracies, Monarchies, Authoritarian Regimes, Transitional Governments with governance structures. Combining all these categories, there are likely over 700,000 governance and administrative entities globally.
